It’s not too late

It’s that time of the year again.

Yes, exams.

I’m quite sure that everyone is rather stressed for the exams and I understand for I feel the same way too.

The moment April arrived, my stress levels soared. At first, I just managed it by studying harder, because through studying, I felt productive. However, by mid-April, studying harder was only making me more stressed. The reason for this is because the more I studied, the more I realized that I didn’t understand a lot of things. This really frustrated me and it also made me feel like I was not prepared for the exams at all. I tried studying harder but it only made things worse because there was a feeling of impending doom that was crushing me.

Hence, I decided to take a few days off and eat good healthy food. So far that has really helped.

I do realize that it is very close to the exams, but it’s not the exams yet, so I still have some time left and I’ll use that time to do my best.

The fear of failing is still there, and there will always be this fear that my best may not be enough. But I decided to push that all aside. I decided that I will be optimistic about this. I will do my best and we’ll see what happens from there.

I can do this and I will do this.

I managed last year and so, I can also manage this year.

True, University of London programmes aren’t easy, but then again, anything that matters will never come easy.

I can only promise my best and that is exactly what I hope to do.

So here is to all of us who will be taking the exams soon. You can do this! All will be well in the end!!

I fell like I could have written this myself. I’m going through the same schedule leading towards impending doom. It’s nice to know I’m not alone! A day off sounds good.

Perfectly apropos. Echoed my exam process completely. Healthy food is really important, especially for those who tend to “eat” their feelings.

Me too feel the stress even I have already prepared in advance for this exam. Few tips I would like to share with you all, which I have been practicing :

    – eating lots of fruits and drinking juice
    – doing exercises in between your study breaks
    – at least 15 min break or having a nap for 20 min after every 2 hours of study

No matter what, let hope and do the best for finals. Fighting
