The news of a plane missing is always a scary thing. This news broke out and the whole world was shocked. Everyone paid attention and prayed hard for the recovery of the plane and the safety of passengers. Day in and day out, people wait with bated breaths.

And as a Malaysian, this story hits home even more because it was a Malaysian plane that went missing. For a moment, I was worried for my own family and friends who were going to board planes to go to places because there is a fear that the same might happen to them too.

But then again, planes are one of the safest transports around because there are plenty of regulations to keep it that way.

Personally, I find it the news about the plane very frustrating. The officials can’t quite say anything and all they keep saying is that they are not ruling out any possibilities and they continue to investigate.

I understand that this is a mystery and I understand an investigation this big with the world’s eyes on Malaysia is unprecedented. I understand the officials are under heavy stress but I hope they do understand that everyone on that plane is someone’s friend, family and loved one.

And so, I feel that it’s important that the officials do their best.

Anyhow, I just wish and hope for the best for MH370.
